About Starworld Martial Arts Academy
A Traditional Martial Arts School Built on Character, Discipline, and Trust
Starworld Martial Arts Academy is a traditional Tang Soo Do school located in Goodyear, Arizona. We exist to develop confident, disciplined, and respectful individuals through structured martial arts training rooted in time-tested principles.
Our focus goes beyond physical technique. Every class is designed to strengthen character, self-control, focus, and responsibility, qualities that positively impact students at home, in school, and throughout life.
Rooted in Tradition and Proven Standards
Starworld Martial Arts Academy follows the curriculum, training methods, and testing standards of the World Tang Soo Do Association (WTSDA), an international traditional martial arts organization dedicated to preserving the integrity and values of Tang Soo Do.
This affiliation ensures that our instruction is consistent, structured, and principled, not trend-driven or improvised. Students progress through a clear curriculum with meaningful expectations at every level, guided by standards that emphasize both technical skill and personal development.
What Students Gain from Training at Starworld
Training at Starworld Martial Arts Academy is designed to produce real-world results that extend far beyond the dojang.
Parents consistently see improvements in areas that matter most:
Increased confidence and self-esteem
Improved focus and listening skills
Stronger self-control and respect for others
Greater discipline and responsibility
Practical, age-appropriate self-defense skills
For children, training supports healthy development by reinforcing structure, respect, and positive habits.
For teens and adults, training provides physical conditioning, stress relief, confidence, and lifelong self-defense skills.
Self-defense is taught responsibly — with an emphasis on awareness, avoidance, sound judgment, and the ability to act decisively when necessary.
A Supportive Community Built for the Long Term
Starworld Martial Arts Academy is more than a place to train — it is a community built on mutual respect, encouragement, and shared values. Many of our students train with us for years, growing not only in skill but in maturity, confidence, and leadership.
Families choose Starworld because they are seeking consistency, professionalism, and a school they can trust long-term. Our commitment is to provide a stable, positive environment where students of all ages feel supported, challenged, and proud of their progress.
Begin Your Journey with Confidence

We welcome students of all ages who are ready to train with purpose, grow with integrity, and become part of a supportive martial arts community.

Our Focus
Our Focus
At Starworld Martial Arts Academy, our focus goes beyond kicks and punches. We develop Black Belt character and leadership, confidence, discipline, athletic fitness, bully prevention, and practical self-defense skills.
Our goal is to build each student’s self-esteem while teaching them to set goals, overcome challenges, and develop the internal motivation to succeed.
We teach students that martial arts is not about looking for a fight. It is about having the confidence, character, and skills to handle challenges appropriately.
We stand tall. We live strong. We develop Black Belt leaders for life.

“We enrolled my son and WOW, we are extremely grateful for all they have done for my son. It has been the best decisions we have made specially because of all that my son has gain in such a short amount of time. He was bullied in the past and he had no confidence and so much fear, and today that is all gone. He LOVES attending class and his instructors. We are thankful for Master Williamson and all of the instructors. They work so hard with each student by teaching and encouraging them every time. We highly recommend Starworld Martial Arts, we are looking forward to many more years!”
